Ostrovа

One of the most demure and strict Lichi interior projects came to life in the "Ostrovа" shopping mall. However, even there are details and features that are not immediately noticeable.

A completely monochrome solution is undoubtedly winning but simultaneously challenging to execute. It also provides designers with a room for experiments and a new interpretation of familiar materials and textures.
The first thing to catch the eye is the store window with a group of minimalistic mannequins. In contrast to other projects, here they are presented in a matte white color, so as not to distract attention from the collection and further emphasize the clothing.
The bases of the mannequins are made from massive natural stones. This natural motif is played out exclusively in the store window area and is complemented by delicate plants in transparent soft-shaped pots.

The entrance group is executed in a similar style, but in this case, lightness and airiness come to the forefront to avoid overloading the space. The bases in the form of transparent hexagons create an illusion of the models floating in the air.

BIANCO CARRARA MARBLE

GRILLE CEILING

TERRAZZO TILE

SILVER
The predominantly light retail space is complemented by large inserts of cold gray shade and glossy silver metal equipment. The equipment does not divert the customer’s attention but seamlessly blends into the overall composition.
Accessories and shoes are displayed on large cubes made of natural marble – a technique that highlights the item against the rest and presents it as a work of art.
The thoughtfulness of classic elements is especially evident against the backdrop of modern technological implementations, such as rectangular displays on the walls. Even they, with their shape, emphasize the correct lines of the interior.

The check-out area, framed with dark graphite terrazzo tile, is undoubtedly a visual accent of the entire space. Thanks to their matte surface and delicate pattern, the marble table and accessory panel, offset the shine of metal and effectively highlight the decor.

Fine geometry and large soft forms balance each other out: for instance, the grille ceiling is complemented by large round chandeliers that complement the rhythm of high arched fitting rooms, bringing the composition into a whole.
A cohesive and harmonious space is created right before our eyes – the space that is understandable, orderly, but at the same time, light and comfortable for shopping.
