THE INDUSTRIAL AND SOMEWHAT RUGGED INTERIOR OF LICHI IN THE AFIMALL CITY SHOPPING MALL DIFFERS FROM THE BRAND'S USUAL AESTHETICS
The futuristic design in gray tones is an extension of the urban environment. Situated in one of the main shopping malls of the metropolis, it inspired architects to create this project.
The store window reflects the concept of the entire space without overwhelming it with unnecessary details. Lighting highlights the impeccable clothing collection on the mannequins, while a large display serves as a focal point. Through the store window, one can glimpse the unconventional decor of the hall, enticing with its complex character.
Concrete slabs used in the finishing, a departure from the norm for Lichi stores, are paired with visible ceiling fixtures. The floor retains its original expansion joint, evoking the presence of the metro line passing beneath the building. Robust steel elements dominate, contributing to the interior's luster and sheen. Fragile glass provides a striking contrast to the surrounding textures. Illumination filters through the transparent block wall, casting vibrant reflections across the dim surfaces.
Clothing and accessories are displayed on sleek aluminum racks, creating clean geometric lines throughout the store. Designers incorporated many unconventional decor elements, each inviting close examination like an art piece. Unusual-shaped metal chairs, massive cubes and cylinders, and acrylic glass chairs lend the space a unique allure.
But the main feature is the table with two cash registers made from solid metal sheets unified by natural marble – this eclectic mix makes Lichi truly memorable.
The accessories area is minimalistic yet striking. The attention is drawn towards the unique selection of adornments, presented on a transparent accessory panel and a metal cube below it. Standing out against the backdrop is an original round stand with a mirror, made from genuine metal.
The large fitting area provides not only comfort but also aesthetic pleasure. It is executed in a contemporary monochrome style. Walls clad in concrete slabs, heavy velvet curtains, matching poufs, and expansive mirrors create an effect of boundless space. The waiting area with a uniquely cubic-shaped chair and an aesthetic marble table is complemented by another mirror, allowing scrutiny of every outfit from all angles and under any lighting.
Freedom of expression, uniqueness, and a subtle sense of time have made the Lichi store in the Afimall City shopping mall not only a direct reflection of the brand's philosophy but also a source of inspiration and a birthplace of ideas.
